Installing Blade<\/div>

GETTING STARTED<\/span><\/h2><\/div>[\/vc_column][vc_column width=”2\/3″][vc_tta_accordion active_section=”1″][vc_tta_section title=”Installing Blade and its required plugins” tab_id=”1442669368011-4ffdb702-44dd”][vc_column_text]Before all else you must setup a WordPress version on your server. After downloading the package, you will have \u201cBlade\u201d<\/strong> folder and \u201cBlade.zip\u201d<\/strong> file inside the Theme package. You can either choose to upload the Theme to your server via FTP (just upload the folder \u201cBlade\u201d into the folder wp-content\/themes) or via WordPress upload function (\u00a0Appearance > Themes > Install Themes > Upload\u00a0<\/strong>) using the \u201cBlade.zip\u201d file.
\nAfter the installation of the Blade Theme do not forget to install the required plugins: Visual Composer<\/strong>,\u00a0Blade Extension Plugin<\/strong> and Contact Form 7<\/strong>. Especially without the Visual Composer and the Blade Extension Plugin you won\u2019t be able to use most of our elements.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”How to Update Blade and its required plugins” tab_id=”1442669368038-55a783a8-99c0″][vc_column_text]This is for sure the easiest and fastest way to update Blade. The only thing you have to do is to activate the theme update
\nand enter your Themeforest username and an API key (from Envato).
\nFollow the steps below in order to use the auto update:<\/p>\n

  1. Go Theme Options > Theme Update<\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. Enable Theme Update<\/li>\n
  3. Insert your Themeforest username and an API key from your Envato account (Go Settings > API Keys<\/strong> on Envato\u2019s account)<\/li>\n
  4. Save changes and you\u2019re ready.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    When there is a new update of Blade you will be informed (message at top) in Appearance >Themes<\/strong> screen and in Theme Options screen. Then you will be able to update Blade with just one-click. Don\u2019t forget to update the required plugins in case that you are prompted.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Import Demo Content in Blade with 1-click” tab_id=”1442669703789-0801e7f7-3855″][vc_column_text]With Blade, you have the possibility to import any of the demos with just ONE click.     1. Install and activate the required plugin Blade Demo Data Importer<\/li>\n
    2. Go Blade Demos in the WP Dashboard<\/li>\n
    3. Select the demo you wish to import (you can additionally select to import Dummy Content, Theme Options or\/and Widgets).<\/li>\n
    4. Click Import and in a few seconds you will have the whole content in your WP installation.<\/li>\n

      THEME OPTIONS<\/span><\/h2><\/div>[\/vc_column][vc_column width=”2\/3″][vc_tta_accordion][vc_tta_section title=”The main Blade Philosophy” tab_id=”1442669850093-652e1ff7-61f8″][vc_column_text]Blade Options panel is built with the renowned Redux Framework<\/strong> and gives you many configuration options in a user-friendly environment. Click the Blade tab from the main WordPress navigation and then you will be able to access and enjoy many core features of Blade. All the options have detailed descriptions in order to explain their purpose.
      \nBlade\u2019s main philosophy is that the user can have the power to make global settings from Theme Options on how to change the appearance of each Post format ( Pages\/Posts\/Portfolios) and in addition to be able to override almost everything through the Single Post formats (Pages\/Posts\/Portfolios). For example: Under Theme Options > Page Options<\/strong> you can select on whether you wish your Page header to overlap the content and select the Header Style you prefer (Default\/Light\/Dark). That means that the settings you will make will affect every single page of your site. In a creation of a Page, you can surely override this selection (as and most of them). This is the Blade Magic![\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Header Possibilities in Blade” tab_id=”1442669850208-d5e9d427-0d9b”][vc_column_text]Most of these elements can have their own align without one\u2019s place affecting the other\u2019s. This way, virtually dozens of combinations can turn out.\u00a0If you take into account the TopBar that offers 2 places (left and right) and it\u2019s off the logic On\/Off and Add elements, Blade can satisfy even the most demanding user.
      \nLast but not least, Blade provides 3 different Header Modes<\/strong> that you can find under Theme Options > Header Options > Header Mode<\/strong>. The Default Header Mode<\/strong>, the Logo on Top Mode<\/strong> and the Side Mode<\/strong>. All the modes have their own settings (colors, logos etc) via Appearance > Customize<\/strong>.
      \nDon\u2019t forget that above your content you can set the default titles (posts, pages, portfolio items), the Feature section area ( available in pages, posts, portfolio items and Woo products ) and the Anchor menu (available in pages, posts, portfolio items and Woo products ) option.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”How to set up your Footer in Blade” tab_id=”1442669850333-64e65830-2062″][vc_column_text]Blade provides multiple footer layouts that you can choose from.       \nAfterwards the creation of your footer layout, you will probably want to add your content. Simply go to\u00a0Appearance > Widgets<\/strong>. Drag any of the provided widgets to the footer widget areas (Footer 1-4), order and reorder them as you wish and customise the settings.
